What causes our thoughts to flow is known but limited,
Yet mysteries surround the causes too,
Looking beyond what we make out of it,
Are the realities we question so true.
There our deepest fear lies, not in the question asked,
But the answer we seek to make it clear.
The thoughts our minds weave, a loop we have masked,
Believing our reality holds no fear.
Yet reality is far from what we think we know.
There lies our apprehension to accept an alternate.
A concept grasped but seldom shown,
The alternate is not what we have painted it to be.
It is rather THE reality that we assume does not exist.
We create rather limited if not rigid paradigms,
Proving our painted truths to be real,
Yet tirelessly searching for answers that aren’t universal.
Not looking to object to the reality of those paradigms,
We might seek openings to embrace the possibility,
Of an alternate reality alongside our own,
Is what may grant us a glimpse of a richer experience,
Providing us with some sense of alternated reality.
